White Poems

With White Poems, Susana Arce concludes an exhibition conceived in two acts. The first one, Inhabited Words, could be seen in this same room in September 2020.

The exhibition consists of two pieces, ‘White Poems’, inspired by the poem ‘Alga in the slow current’ written by poet María Zambrano, and ‘Towards You’.

In her works, poetry, light and fabric come together to tell us about life as a journey in search of truth and one's own self beyond fears and obstacles, of the beauty of the marks and transformations that this journey will inevitably/unavoidably cause in us, and of the need for others on this path towards knowledge.

With White Poems, Susana Arce continues to explore the possibilities of silk and felt to create intimate spaces that embrace us and invite us to discover their multiple interpretations.
