The character of each people or culture has been expressed for centuries through textiles. It has been passed down from mothers to daughters, from grandmothers to granddaughters through the threads, which create stories, dreams, and unite generations.
When we see a landscape, sense a smell, hear a sound, meet someone in a certain moment of our journey, that landscape, smell, sound, moment, touches the soul and remains in our memory. It is transformed into another reality that is neither the same nor different from true reality. Sometimes, we have the need to catch that memory, to retain it within a network of threads, without realising that it is necessary to create a void to live the moment fully. Memories are transformed over time, and they resonate within us, deeply, completely, reverberating, transforming our reality and becoming part of ourselves, of our identity.
Memory and reminiscence, there is nothing that remains, lasts or is perpetuated, everything is equally empty, transformed in true reality...
